Welcome to yet another one of my Harry Potter Party posts, #10 I believe. For a complete list of current posts see the bottom of this one for more links. Today I am going to be showing you all these adorable cupcakes from our Owlery tower in honor of Hedwig.
This tree like cupcake holder was found at a yard sale for a couple of dollars. It was a votive candle holder. I took out all the glasses and added some brown floral wire under each of the holder spots. This allowed the cupcakes not to slip through.
- Cocolate and White cake mixes for the cupcakes
- WHITE - cupcake liners (we wanted the colors of the cake to show through)
- Butter Cream iceing
- Oreos - many sizes and flavors
- M&M - one bag (not snack size)
Here is my son and then daughter picking out his and her cupcakes. So cute!
I think this was the first moment of silence during this party. Hehe! They were enjoyed by all 37 kids! (I know I am nuts... but 37 is better then 42 that RSVP'd)
