Valentines day Cards made with Authentique Paper, Book Pages and Helmar Adhesives

Dear readers,

Thank you for stopping by today! I am so happy I get to share with you some unique valentines day cards i created for CHA. Helmar adhesives were used to create these and they were displayed in the Helmar booth. Happy Helmar Day!

 

The photo above used Authentique papers ... LOVE IT! I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry on the ribbon trim and Zap Dots for the layers on the heart and Happy Together sticker.

 

I just love the idea of the "One and only Love" implied here! The pink twine is from May Arts. Each hart has a Helmar Zap Dot behind it to bring dimension to the card.

This "Love" card was created with men in mind. Once again Authentique Papers were used with Tim Holtz stamps. Once again These L O V E stickers were raised with Helmar Zap Dots and the book pages were adhered with Helamr Permanent Adhesive Runner

 

 Authentique paper is stunning with these tangerine poppies and the teal. The Helmar 450 Quick Dry was used for the ribbon and to secure the sticker saying. Helamr Permanent Adhesive Runner was sued for the Poppy paper and some Helmar Acid Free Glue around the fussy cutting of the poppy paper.

Angelina Ballerina - Party Invitations

THIS IS THE FIRST PAPER CRAFT PROJECT I HAVE WORKED ON SINCE OUR MOVE IN SEPTEMBER! **CHEER**

My wonderful daughter has decided to have a ballerina party for her fifth birthday. However not just any ballerina party... Angelina Ballerina... did you know they DON'T make party decorations with Angelina Ballerina at all... and very little selection with just ballet themes. Yes this is a major problem of mine. I guess I am typing this blog for the first time to kick my little behind into gear and get working on my Christmas cards. I have the design in my head I even have the photos of my son done. So here it is... a public recount of my to do list and when it gets done... pretty embarrassing! However knowing how I am and have been in years past... I think I deserve it.


THE TO DO LIST!

1. Take Photo's of my Daughter, my son's are done as seen here... before any editing is made to it.
2. Put design down on paper and do any research needed
3. Create Design Model
4. Assemble
   • Cut out boarders
   • Print vellum inserts
   • Assemble the frame onto the vellum
     
   • Emboss design
   • Add embellishments
   • Insert Photos
     
   • Add Yearly CD slide show
5. Accent Envelope
6. Print Addresses on envelope
7. Stuff Cards and seal
8. Add postage and mail

LOL does not seem like too much... *sigh*... knowing me it will have more details as I put my design to paper...... yes because as my hubby says, I am crazy!

Okay here is what I am going to do... I will put the date each step is completed so I can try to hold myself accountable and get this stuff done this week. Lately I have been scrapbooking more and more, and geting beautiful pages done but I think I am doing this to avioid this project. Bad, papercrafter, BAD! Got to get this stuff done this week... OMG IT IS THANKSGIVING ALREADY THIS WEEK... and I have got to get this done... errr... started...*sigh* again!
