Darkside Henna - Darth Vader Style

I had a fantastic customer. She was a sweet little girl with a love for Starwars, specifically Darth Vader. This project was so much fun to do, outside of my normal henna "box" of designs. The design of the iconic Imperial Forces leader was created on her forearm as if he was using the force reaching out with his hands.

She choose a design from a deviant artist that goes by: PhillieCheesie

I love it when the client walks away so happy the smile won't leave there face. This was a great day for henna and my heart.

Remember:
"Come to the Darkside... we have cookies!"

Bloom Girl Workshop Project #4

Meet Amania (means faith)

I picture her looking up to heaven seeking answers to help guide her though the rough time she is having. With a sudden peace sweeping over her.

Bloom Girl Workshop Sketch #4.  I just love looking at the beginning sketches and the final projects. If you want to learn how to create these beauties please check out Jamie Lynn Dougherty's workshops. (You can see the first bloom girl I created by clicking here)

Of course the mixed media flowers and embellishments would not be secure without the use of my Handy Dandy Helmar 450 Quick Dry! It's the only thing I trust to use on something like this.

Please leave me a comment below with your thoughts. Have a wonderful day!

CHA 2012 Folded book projects with My Minds Eye and Helmar

Hello readers!
Today I am going to briefly share with you two of my projects I created for the Helmar booth at CHA Winter 2012.

The bird house was created with the lost and found line from my minds eye and some wonderful Helmar Acid Free Glue and Helmar 450 Quick Dry.  Folding and tearing book pages seems to be consuming my life lately LOL!

This next piece was also created for Helmar's booth but it was also donated to Charity Wings Organization for the carnival raffle at CHA Winter 2012. The winner of the raffle for this item was from the Neatherlands... I'm an international artist baby! LOL. Just kidding... but I thought that was pretty cool.
